Detailed Design for the Provision of Drinking Water and Sewerage Services in the Western Suburbs of Buenos Aires. National Directorate of Pre-Investment (DNPRI).
Details
The project involved the preparation of detailed design documents and bidding specifications for sewage and drinking water systems in five localities in the provinces of Buenos Aires and La Pampa. The designs included assessments and economic and environmental evaluations, in compliance with the requirements for applying for financing from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB). PVC sewer networks and pumping stations were designed to serve a total population of approximately 20,000 residents, with treatment plants tailored to each specific case.
In addition, a 55-kilometer-long aqueduct was built in Pehuajó to supply water to 40,500 people, connecting wells, a storage reservoir, and a pumping station in Mones Cazón to the city of Pehuajó.
